A MICROGREENS FARM
Microgreens are vegetable greens (and sometime fruits and herbs) that are harvested shortly after the cotyledon (cot·y·le·don) leaves have developed, not to be confused with sprouts. They have a wide variety of uses including Taste and Texture Enhancement, Visual Appeal and perhaps most important they are used a Nutritional Supplement. Some studies have Microgreens nutritional values at up to 40 times that of their fully grown varieties. You can add them to a Protein Shake or a Smoothie for a Nutritional boost, or they make a fantastic addition to Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, and almost any other dish you can think of. Their Flavors can range from Mild to Spicy, Sweet to Lemony, Earthy to Oniony!

In 2018 we purchased this beautiful old Farmhouse that was built in the 1880's. We fell in love with it's charm and character. We were so intrigued with the house and property we reached out to our local historian and learned that the house was part of one of the original 100 acre "Great Lots" set up by the towns Namesake James Duane a former Mayor of New York City .
Little did we know at the time what the next 3 years would have in store for us. Many big projects.....endless painting, chickens, our Wedding! and oh yeah, we decided to start a business!
